Taylor Swift has announced that she will be releasing her re-recorded version of her fourth studio album, Speak Now, on July 7, 2023. The album will be titled Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and will feature all 14 tracks from the original album, as well as six new songs.
Originally, Speak Now was released in 2010 and was a critical and commercial success. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It spawned the hit singles “Mine,” “Back to December,” “Mean,” and “Sparks Fly.”

Swift has been re-recording her old albums in an effort to regain ownership of her masters. In 2019, she signed a new deal with Universal Music Group that gave her the ability to re-record her first six albums. She has already released re-recordings of her albums Fearless and Red, and she is currently working on re-recording her album 1989.
Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is the third re-recording that Swift has released. just like the original albumt is expected to be a huge success. Fans are excited to hear the new versions of their favorite songs and to support Swift in her fight for ownership of her masters.

In addition to the new songs, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) will also feature updated production and vocals. Swift has said that she wanted to make sure that the re-recordings were true to the original albums, but also that they sounded fresh and modern.
The album is available for pre-order now and will be released on July 7, 2023.
